Founded in 1967 in the valley of Mercatale di Vernio (PO), Carbofin Srl has maintained a 50-year long tradition in the textile industry. We mainly deal with carbonisation, cleaning, and trading of wool staple, as well as other textile products.

 

Our machines are unique in Italy for this type of carbonisation and cleaning processes, which guarantee highest standards for our customers. Wool is an extremely fragile material, and the removal of vegetable matter from it needs to be handled with extreme care. Our company strives to guarantee the total elimination of vegetable matter from wool by use of a fully automated technique, while respecting the integrity of the material in the process.

 

As to trading, we purchase wool from a number of different countries including Italy, Australia, South Africa, countries in South America, Syria and Israel. We then proceed to its carbonisation and cleaning before reselling in the marketplace of Biella and other EU countries.
