Our process of carbonisation and washing of wool, which is one of the most sustainable natural fibres, only use water from the nearby river Bisenzio, stored in dedicated wells located in the river banks. Waste water is then routed to a purification plant in the municipality of Vernio (PO). Sustainability is central to our company, which is why we purify 100% of our waste water to avoid environmental harms from it. In addition, we use environmentally friendly products such as sulphuric acid, soda bicarbonate, and hydrogen peroxide.

 

Our processes are in line with the traditional textile industry of Prato, whose sustainability is certified by the Cardato eco-label, which stands for reuse of leftovers and creation of ecological, non-toxic products.
